According to Review by Emily Masters, If I Stay is a page-turner, save the moments when reflection is required. In a fairly slim volume, author Gayle Forman manages to create a believable and virtually blameless character in Mia. Readers will find themselves drawn to empathize with Mia and nearly all of the other characters at some point.

If I Stay is one of my favorite book of Gayle Forman . If I Stay  is the first novel of the two-book series .The story is very compelling because of what occurs within the first chapters of the book to the main character , Mia Hall  and her family . The story is written in Mia's P.O.V or Point of  View and shift between her present and past memories that she recalls during her ordeal.

Mia Hall is a 17 year old teenager who loves to play her cello and enjoys classical music . She is quite, talented and has a bright promising future . She is beautiful inside and outside by the way she treat people around her that's why she is delighted by everyone. Kim Schein referred to as her twin sister because of their similar looks and their brunette hair . Mia's family is close and loving;her parents are open-minded people who love their children like crazy and her young brother , Teddy adorable  kid.

Mia's hall family decided to go for a road trip . They can visit old family friends , stop by on bookstore and dine in with Mia's grandparents. In the car , each family members battles for his or her favorite music to be played on the stereo . Her mom requesting NPR , bow-tied dad wanted a Frank Sinatra , and Teddy asking for SpongBob. Mia ,as always loved to listen to classical music. Beethoven's Cello Sonata No.3 is playing when Mia closes her eyes. And her life abruptly changed forever.

The car was totally destoyed after the accident At first Mia is reassured and decides everything will be okay. After all, she's standing by the vehicle, hearing the music. But then she sees her father dead. Next, she finds her mother, who has also died in the collision. Now Mia is desperate to find her little brother. She spies a hand in a ditch and runs toward her body ,  When she reaches the person in the ditch, she realizes she is looking at her own body filled with blood .

Mia and Teddy are rushed to a local hospital. Then, Mia is flown to a trauma center in nearby Portland, where 

she undergoes surgery and is placed in the Intensive Care Unit. Her 

grandparents and other relatives arrive, as 

well as her best friend Kim. Eventually, Adam, her boyfriend, drops in to see 

her. Her whole relatives was in 

mourn  seeing her dying . Mia is in serious condition, with a collapsed lung, 

ruptured spleen, internal 

bleeding, and damage to her brain. Her life is at stake of choosing between ---- 

living her loved ones or a death 

choice. Should she stay... or Should she go ??

Our life is a game that we people play, going to a path of purpose this story drive me to a an emotion of choosing  between leaving or going .Sacrifice means everything we lost but in return we are rewarded by bunch of blessings. 

Mia's romance with her boyfriend and her passion for her music. 


This a great example of a love story that could last forever.
